An event will take place between January 4th to 6th, with a major celebration at the National Assembly building on Wednesday morning. Former leaders of the Communist Party and National Assembly deputies will attend the activities. Party and state leaders, National Assembly speakers from Laos and Cambodia and ambassadors will attend the ceremony.
Chairman of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc said this was an opportunity to highlight the significance of the first general election, recognising the National Assembly as the highest representive body of the people.
