As of December 25th, branches of the Vietnam Red Cross Society had raised over 4.8 million USD to fund gift purchases and social welfare projects for the poor. Notably, Hanoi’s Red Cross Society collected more than 59,000 gifts, while 52,000 gifts were collected in Ho Chi Minh City. The campaign will run until February 5th(2016).
