A bus was found to be carrying 12 frozen langurs on December 28th in Ky Anh District's Ky Tho commune. Initial investigation determined Trieu Thi Cuc Phuong as the owner of the shipment.
Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Hoang Van Tuong và Le Xuan Hue on January 2nd.
Hoang Van Tuong confessed to police that the langurs were purchased from hunters in Quang Binh Province and were being transported for sale.
