Vietnam Airlines and Vinatex, two leading state enterprises of Vietnam, were among the first to enter the session. The Minister of Finance, Dinh Tien Dung, attended the event.
Vietnam Airlines and Vinatex were listed on UPCOM on the stock market's 1st trading session of 2017. Vietnam Airlines is registered under the code HVN, with registered shares of 1227 billion, each costing 28.000 Vietnamese dong.
Vinatex went under the VGT code, with each share costing 13.500 Vietnamese dong. Other enterprises such as Vietjet Air, PV Power, or Mobifone also joined the session with enthusiasm. The Minister of Finance, Dinh Tien Dung, at the event reiterated that the equitisation of enteprises will be facilitated and hastened, and the derivative stock market will come into operation in February 2017.
