Vietnam's tea exports to the US are at 11 billion USD per year, accounting for 2.3% of Vietnam's total tea exports. In order to seize the opportunity in this market, a delegation for Vietnam's trade promotion, composed of representatives of key tea growing areas in the north and of tea enterprises, went to the US to study the market and promote Vietnamese tea products.
There are up to 158 million Americans who drink tea every day. Americans spend more than 80 billion USD yearly on tea products. For this reason, the US is a market that has a lot of potential for consuming Vietnam's high quality tea products.
