Vietnamese movies struggle amid pandemic

After the release date of the movie "Ròm" was rescheduled, Vietnamese movies such as "Blood Moon Party" and "Other Husband" were also delayed indefinitely. While movie theaters are still allowed to operate, the lack of movies is making it difficult to draw moviegoers to the cinema.

Many are struggling to find solutions on how to promote films and continue operations. Currently, publishers are focusing on promoting their movies online via social media with behind the scenes clips and side information with the hope that audiences will still be interested despite being released later than planned.

Artists, filmmakers, and cinemas are still positive and hope that one day activities will return to normal.
