In a virtual roll call vote on Tuesday, due to the coronavirus pandemic, all 50 US states and seven territories announced their tallies endorsing Biden, promising to repair a pandemic-devastated America and a champion for the voiceless and forgotten Americans who are struggling in the pandemic and an economic crisis.
Also on the convention, California Senator Kamala Harris made history as the first Black and South Asian woman to accept a major party's vice presidential nomination and Joe Biden's running mate.
Next week, the Republicans will hold their convention to officially endorse President Trump's bid to stay in power for another term. The U.S presidential general election will take place on November 3rd.
