For many years, UNESCO, as well as other countries such as Poland, Japan, and Italy, have sent professionals to survey and maintain the sanctuary. According to a recent agreement with the Vietnamese government, India will send their professionals to restore the towers of the sanctuary.
Being recognised as aworld culture heritage site for more than twenty years, My Son is a tourist attraction of Quang Nam Province. Every year, My Son receives a thousand visitors. However, more customers also means more pressure put on the sanctuary. Therefore, profiting from the monument for tourism and promoting monument restoration needs to be done at the same time.
