The forum will be presented and discussed by the scientific community of the two countries with a view to developing effective bilateral cooperation programs for Vietnam and the UK. Researchers shared knowledge and experience in many areas such as infectious disease, water resources management, digital and big data applications, marine logistics, and economics.
They also discussed and clarified successes and challenges in bringing the two countries' research and creation systems together. Vietnam and the United Kingdom already have a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaborative research and innovation programs worth nearly £ 8.5 million (255 bil VND) from 2014 - 2018.
