Participants at the event have agreed that Vietnam has made timely preparations for new tech trends. The Ministry assigned a circular allowing the use of 2G frequency bands for 3G and 4G. WiGig technology with its 60 Ghz frequency band was also used to provide wireless charging and automobile radar, among others. Now, authorities need to propose a reasonable cost for the frequency band in order to facilitate enterprises' move towards 5G.
