Vietnam Television Wins First Prize at the 11th National External Information Awards

VTV.vn - Vietnam Television made a strong impression at the 11th National External Information Awards, taking home one First Prize and one Third Prize.

The 11th National External Information Awards Ceremony 2025 took place  in Hanoi on the evening of December 12   and was broadcast live on VTV1.

The 11th National External Information Awards 2025 attracted 2,412 entries. At the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, together with leaders of the Party, the State, ministries, and agencies, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, presented eight  First Prizes, 16 Second Prizes, 24 Third Prizes, and 40 Consolation Prizes to outstanding works and authors.

Vietnam Television (VTV) reaffirmed its position as a leading media organization by winning two major awards at the 11th National External Information Awards - 2025. In the Television category, the documentary The Battle of Will produced  by   Tao Thi Thanh Xuan, Le Hoang Linh, Pham Thuy Linh, Tran Anh Ngoc, Nguyen Hong Nhung, along with members of the External Television Department, won First Prize. Meanwhile, the political-artistic program Words Bequeathed, also produced by the External Television Department, was honored with a Third Prize.

The documentary “The Battle of Will” was recently screened in cinemas in Ho Chi Minh City as part of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival in November 2025.

The program Words Bequeathed, jointly organized by the Central Commission for Information and Education and Vietnam Television, takes place at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, on the evening of August 30.

The year 2025 marks many significant milestones for Vietnam. It is also the final year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, paving the way toward the 14th National Party Congress. In this context, the 11th National External Information Awards continued to affirm its prestige as a highly influential award by recognizing the exceptional efforts of media  outlets  in showcasing   Vietnam,    its people, and culture to the world.

The  consecutive high-ranking awards won by Vietnam Television demonstrate the continuous innovation, investment, and sense of responsibility of television professionals as they work  to promote Vietnam's image globally.
