500 delegates from ministries, sectors, research institutes and enterprises from the ASEAN countries and China participated in the event. At the forum, they discussed the achievements of their last 10 years of cooperation.
They also talked about the building of multi-mode transport routes between ASEAN and China by enhancing transport and infrastructure, and seaport cooperation, which would strengthen trade, investment cooperation, and people-to-people contact between the two sides.
The forum also drew representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat, sponsor organizations such as the Asian Development Bank, and international scholars.
