Participating airlines have offered 20 thousand cheap air tickets. Meanwhile, over 230 tour operators have offered discounts of up to 60% discount on 15 thousand domestic and international tour packages. These offers are much more attractive than last year. And the event is expecting 62 thousand visitors thanks to these cut-price offers.
Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong, Visitor, Hanoi said: I’m here to find a cheap tour package to Phu Quoc Island.
"Besides offering attractive tour products, we have prepared programmes to benefit customers before and after the journey", Tran Tuan Anh, Vice CEO, Vietravel.
VITM 2016 focuses on promoting sea and island tourism, especially for the upcoming holiday on April 30th. Products to north-western region are also being promoted at a north-western house which has been constructed at the fair.
The fair also boasts 110 international booths from 25 nations, including Russia, Korea, Japan and Thailand. VITM claims to be one of the largest international tourism fairs in the region.
