Vietnam ensures sustainable development

In addition to traditional trade issues, the EVFTA also ensures that trade is always in line with sustainable development, by establishing the highest standards of protection for the labor force, consumers, and the environment. Vietnam is also trying to cope with climate change and illegal, unreported and unregulated seafood exploitation in order to remove the European Council's "yellow card" warning on Vietnamese seafood.
