Vietnam bolsters co-operation with Argentina, Chile

VTV.vn - A party delegation led by head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Hoàng Bình Quân paid working visits to Chile and Argentina from June 27 to June 30.

Working with Argentina's General Secretary of the Communist Party Victor Kot, and other Argentine leaders, The Vietnamese representative urged to increase the exchange of delegations. The two countries agreed to bolster collaboration in all fields, especially in economics, trade and investment. The Vietnamese representative also answered queries on sovereignty-related disputes in the East Sea, and Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Spratly and Paracel archipelagos.

During his stay in Chile, Vietnam’s Party Committee’s Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan was received by President Michelle Banchelet, who hoped for the further expansion of economic, trade and investment ties between Chile and Vietnam and for the effective implementation of the bilateral free trade agreement.
