Good news from Vietnamese agricultural exporters. Total export value of agriculture, forestry and fishery in the first six months of this year reached 17.1 billion USD, up 13% over the same period last year, in which vegetables and fruits soar.
With total export value estimated at 1.7 billion USD, up 44.6% over the same period last year, second largest after coffee. The largest market for fruits and vegetables is China, accounting for 85% of the total value; Next are markets such as the US, Japan and South Korea. These markets, along with the United Arab Emirates, Russia and Thailand, are the most valuable export markets for Vietnamese vegetables and fruits over the past half year.
