Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the Germany-Vietnam Economic Forum on Thursday afternoon with German Economics and Energy Minister, Brigitte Zypries and representatives of over 700 businesses from both countries. PM Phuc said that Germany, with its technology and experience, could help Vietnam participate in the increasingly fast technologically changing world economy.
Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh signed a co-operation agreement with the German federal Rhineland - Palatinate state on environmental technology, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and agriculture sector. Both sides also vowed to lift two-way trade to 20 billion USD from 14 billion USD at present.
