The image of Vietnam’s terraced rice fields appeared on the website of the UK Daily Telegraph’s list of what it ranked as the world’s most surreal landscapes. The Telegraph ranked terraced paddy fields 8th out of 14 in its list of the world’s most surreal landscapes. The Telegraph said the terraced fields formed “one of the most striking green landscapes in the world”. Also in the list are the world’s largest salt flat Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia and Mendenhall Glacier cave in Alaska.
