In 2021, in the context of the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic, to overcome the shortage of blood across the country during the social distancing period,
the Tuyen Quang Province's Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation at all levels coordinated to organise 18 voluntary blood donation sessions, receiving more than 6,000 blood units, reaching 118% of the target of the National Steering Committee.
