The National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS), Mastercard, and Payment Intermediary Payoo have announced that 200 vulnerable women at high risk of cancer will receive essential financial support, wrapping up Phase 02 of the "Tap to Share, Give Hope" program. Each of the VND 5 million support packages will enable these women to access in-depth screenings, facilitating early detection and timely treatment.
"Tap To Share, Give Hope" is a social welfare initiative jointly organized by NAPAS, Mastercard, and Payoo, aimed at supporting the health of vulnerable women by providing free preliminary cancer screenings and financial assistance for in-depth screenings.
Phase 1, conducted from July to October 2024, provided free screenings for breast, thyroid, cervical, and ovarian cancers to 2,010 women in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The program also launched impactful awareness campaigns, including social media mini games, the "Writing for the Woman I Love" contest, the "Love Bus" event at universities like the University of Economics and Finance Ho Chi Minh City, the National Economics University, and Nong Lam University Ho Chi Minh City, and activities during Vietnam Card Day, successfully engaging the public, especially young people.
Phase 2, which started in November 2024, marks a significant milestone in the campaign's journey to promote humanitarian values. By providing financial support to 200 women at high risk of cancer, the program not only eases their financial burdens but also fosters a spirit of sharing and collective action for community health.
