On this occasion, a symposium discussing the historical event will also be held at the provincial convention centre.
Following the event, Tuyen Quang tourism year will be kicked off on April 1, at the Na Tong village’s stadium in Thuong Lam commune, Lam Binh district.
The northern province will host the first-ever International Balloon Festival from March 30 to April 3.
The festival will attract the participation of 20 hot air balloons from different countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, United States, Japan, Taiwan (China), the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Spain and the Netherlands. Vietjet's hot air balloon will represent Vietnam at the festival.
Other assorted activities will also be organised throughout this March around the province, including a knowledge contest on the local historical sites, a photo exhibition on President Ho’s attachment to Tuyen Quang, the launch of Olympic Run Day for Public Health 2022, a volleyball tournament, and a kayaking competition.
