Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory (Tamchy SFIT) has inaugurated its first business centre on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan, providing office infrastructure for the territory’s management company and future resident enterprises.
The 3,850-square-metre facility includes office and co-working areas, conference halls and meeting rooms. A restaurant and café are expected to begin operations in the coming months.
According to the management council, the opening marks the start of operational activities within the financial and investment territory as it prepares to onboard its first residents.
Prior to the launch, Tamchy SFIT established its management company, approved a development roadmap and adopted an initial regulatory framework. The process of appointing the chair and judges of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution is also under way.
Tamchy SFIT was established under Kyrgyzstan’s Law No. 136 dated July 10, 2025, covering approximately 6,000 hectares along Lake Issyk-Kul. The territory operates under English common law principles and offers a 49-year tax exemption regime alongside unrestricted profit repatriation.
By 2035, Tamchy SFIT aims to attract more than 3,900 companies and create over 10,000 jobs, according to its development plan.
