State revenue from foreign trade falls

One of the causes of this reduction has been the implementation of several free trade agreements. In the coming time, this trend will significantly affect Vietnam's state budget. Free trade agreement commitments will further reduce tax revenues from imports and exports. However, Vietnam's state revenue in 2016 exceeded targets by 7% partly thanks to the efforts in reforming tax administration procedures.
