He underscored that science and technology is important for Vietnam’s socio-economic development. State President Tran Dai Quang has hoped to receive further support from international professors and scientists for human resource training and science community connections, helping Vietnam make additional achievements in science and technology.
At the reception, he hailed the great contributions made by Professor Tran Thanh Van and his spouse Le Kim Ngoc to organise the Meeting Vietnam event, which aims to connect local and international scientists. Professor Tran Thanh Van and other foreign scientists recommended ways to promote science and technology development as a top-ranking national policy.
