Southern island to connect to national power grid

The project connecting Lại Sơn island to the national power grid is under the EVN Southern Power Corporation’s energy scheme. The power line is expected to span 44 kilometers and possess a capacity of 70 megavolts per ampere. The project promises to bring hundreds of millions of kilowatts per year to the island and replace the current diesel-run power generator in the area. By April 30^th 2016, more than 2,000 households will benefit from this project./.
