A complete paradigm shift about the true value of water will have to occur in all levels of government and in business and civil society in order to avoid this dark future. In addition, South Africa is planning to increase 37 percent of its investment in projects to consolidate and expand its natural and man-made reservoirs, while maintaining its water supply systems nationwide.
