Salvage vessels pose problems

VTV.vn - Vessel owners are working with insurance companies and the National Oil Spill Response Centre in the central region to come up with the plan to salvage the eight vessels that have sunk off the coast of Binh Dinh Province.

Ten days have passed but only one vessel has had its oil removed and cargo unloaded. On Wednesday morning, the provincial people's committee approved salvaging plans for two other vessels. The process is slow, while the risk of oil spill remains high.
