Republic of Korea assists rural development in Hau Giang

Assisting in the project are experts from the Republic of Korea's Rural Development Administration who will be taking experience from the country's Saemaul Undong or New Village Movement. The Vietnamese-Korean rural village is expected to be completed by 2020 and the model is expected to be recreated across the Mekong Delta Region. During the process, community members will take a more prominent role with local authorities supporting in the infrastructure's development.
