Seasonal workers will be sent to the RoK twice a year, with each period lasting five months to plant, harvest and manage crops.
The first 44 seasonal workers from Quang Binh are scheduled to arrive in Yeongju this April.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province Ho An Phong said that sending seasonal workers to the RoK to work in the agricultural sector will help to create jobs and increase incomes for Vietnamese workers, contributing to reducing poverty.
