According to the Plan on providing elementary vocational training for workers issued by the Hanoi municipal People’s Committee, 21,239 Hanoi residents from 15 years old who need vocational training will be offered courses with subsidised costs.
The beneficiaries are among the target groups of people with disabilities, households in need, ethnic minority and rural groups, policy beneficiaries, and women.
The vocational training covering 20 occupations will be provided for Hanoi workers, including 11 non-agricultural and nine agricultural occupations, such as carpentry and fine arts, lacquer technique, production of bamboo and rattan products, electric welding, industrial sewing, civil construction, animal husbandry, fruit tree planting, flower-growing techniques, and others.
The training programme will conclude before December 31, 2022.
