On Saturday morning in Binh Duong province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park 3 project (VSIP3) and witnessed the issuance of investment certificates for a number of projects with a total capital of up to billions of dollars.
VSIP 3 has an area of 1,000 hectares with a total investment of nearly 280 million USD.
The PM emphasized that VSIP 3 must become a symbol of economic relations between the two countries, and has to operate in a greener, smarter, more sustainable, and more efficient manner, to benefit localities, the investors, and the people.
During the ceremony, the Prime Minister witnessed the issuance of registration certificates and memorandum of understanding to investors in Binh Duong, including an investment certificate for LEGO Group (Denmark) with total investment capital of over 1 billion USD.
Previously, at the COP26 Conference in the UK, the Prime Minister had a private meeting with LEGO's CEO to discuss the project.
