This is the third gateway of the airline into Vietnam after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The route will be served four times weekly by a B787 Dreamliner aircraft with 232 economy class seats and 22 business class seats. The new route is expected to extend the connections of 160 destinations in Qatar Airways’ network.
It will also contribute to the growth of Danang's tourism. Qatar Airways began direct services to Ho Chi Minh City in 2007, and launched its Hanoi service in 2010.
