The forecast was given at the meeting of the Macroeconomic Management Group chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dình Hue on Tuesday afternoon. The construction industry is the driving force for economic growth with an increase of 11%. Exports also increased at a high rate of 23%.
The number of newly established enterprises reached the highest level over the past 7 years, with nearly 27,000 new businesses recorded. At the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister said despite optimistic forecasts, it is necessary to continue implementing synchronously, efficiently and effectively the solutions set out in Government Resolution 1.
He also asked the ministries and sectors to closely monitor trends in the domestic and international economic situation.
