Prompt action on flood aftermath

In his written order, the PM requested provincial people's committees, particularly of Yen Bai and Son La, to continue leveraging local forces to search for missing people and address the aftermath of the floods, evacuate residents from flood- and landslide-prone areas, and ensure food supplies for locals.

The Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control was also asked to work with the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the finance ministry and involved agencies to report on the consequences of the flood to the prime minister for consideration of assistance.
