At the meeting, PM Phuc said that OFID-funded projects have improved the socio-economic lives of the Vietnamese people, especially the ones in remote areas. He hopes the OFID will continue to provide support to Vietnam through non-refundable aid and help the country access loans with more preferential interest rates.
Mr. Alkhalifa said OFID is funding 14 projects with non-refundable aid in Vietnam. The fund hopes that the Vietnamese government will back its efforts to cooperate with and assist the country’s private sector including small and medium-sized enterprises.
