The event attracted the participation of 366 primary students on 122 robotics teams from primary schools in Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
This is the second time Vietnam will host this event. Participating teams are divided into groups and compete using their computer skills to solve problems on the topic of ecological preservation, simulating deforestation conditions and their global impacts. The event also helps raise pupils’ awareness about the important role forests play in environmental protection.
In Vietnam, the Robothon competition has been held since 2013 in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
