The event was organized by provincial authorities, in co-operation with the Dong Bac paragliding club. Over 100 gliders and 5 paragliding clubs from all over the country, as well as foreign gliders, took part in the event.
The paragliding festival is the first of a series of events aimed at attracting tourism and investment to Quang Ninh province. It's also an opportunity to promote Ha Long Bay to people from both Vietnam and around the world.
