Over 2,000 Vietnamese websites under attack

VTV.vn - Over 2,000 websites and nearly 1,000 personal computers in Vietnam were spammed last month. .

These figures were recently announced by the Department of Information Security under the Ministry of Information and Communications

Notably, websites of several government offices were attacked. Common malware included Ramnit, ZeroAccess, and Sality, mostly transmitted via Facebook Messenger. These malwares often change web browser settings users have previously installed. Users are advised to be cautious with suspicious files such as upgrade files and software that appear while browsing the web.
