For Western New Year, the Dalat Flowers Festival, held from 29/12/2015 to 2/1/2016, could be a highlight for domestic tourists. Other options include northern mountainous provinces such as Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Moc Chau and Sapa which attract tourists during the flower blossoming season. Many Asian countries including Thailand and Malaysia are also popular options. For Lunar New Year, tourists choose longer journey especially to the US, Europe and Australia, with bookings up 200%, according to the Vietravel Tourism company.
