New road to cut Vietnam-Phnom Penh route by 50km
VTV.vn - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the upgrading of National Highway 21 connecting Cambodia’s Kandal Province and Chrey Thom Border Gate and Long Bình border gate in An Giang Province, Vietnam.
The 63km-long road and will be built in 2 phases over 36 months with a total cost of 64 million USD, including a South Korean loan of 52.54 million USD and Cambodian counterpart funding of 9 million USD. The route will cut the route to Phnom Penh to Vietnam’s border by 50km./.
