Military returns land to Tan Son Nhat Airport

Statistics from the Ministry show that the military space at the airport has diminished by one-third to around 1060 hectares. A task force of defence officials went on an inspection in early July to assess commercial rentals of military space at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Subsequently, the ministry has decided to recuperate all this land for transfer to the local authorities.

The Ministry of Defence will also handover petrol stations and 50 kiosks on Truong Chinh Roads to the local municipality within August.
