Mid-Autumn Festival in Sapa

A series of activities including a lantern parade, lion dances, and art performances attracted many tourists and local residents. Lantern-making and fruit tray decoration competitions were among the highlights of this year's event. This is the first time a mid-autumn festival has been organised on such a large-scale. The event aimed to preserve and promote national identity and strengthen solidarity between people as well as contribute to promoting Sapa tourism in Lao Cai Province.
