Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said the Malaysian government is strongly promoting digital transformation with four main pillars, namely industrialization 4.0, smart tourism, smart education, and safe cities.
This is considered the main driving force for Malaysia's development. The country aims to reach the top twenty of the world economies by 2050. Listening to representatives from FPT Corporation presenting their technology 4.0 projects, the Malaysian Prime Minister highly appreciated the leading role of large domestic corporations in digital transformation.
The Malaysian Prime Minister also paid a visit to the Vinfast automobile manufacturing factory of VinGroup and talked to the students and local staff there.
