Life stories of Vietnamese sportspeople to be featured in June edition of VTV Special

The TV work is produced by the Scientific and Educational Department of Vietnam Television and shot in different localities of the country.

Former football star Nguyen Hong Son, the host of “The Race”, will tell the stories of Vietnamese sportsmen and sportswomen such as football player Tran Thanh Truong who was struck by lightning or the decease of   judo athlete Tran Thanh Ngoi at the age of 21 or the everyday life of cross country runner Tran Thi Soa.

By depicting the life of those sportsmen and sportswomen, the production team  expected to draw the understanding and sympathy towards those people who once shined in international arena. The biggest race, for those sportspeople, is the race in life to make a  living after retiring from sport.

The first episode of the documentary will be aired at 21h45 on June 2 on VTV1 channel.
