LNA forces recently launched an advance on Tripoli, home to the internationally recognised GNA government, led to 21 deaths and nearly 90 injuries. The UN issued a plea for a temporary ceasefire to allow the wounded to be evacuated, but the fighting continued. International agencies have begun evacuating personnel from Libya amid the worsening security situation. Libya has been torn by violence and political instability since 2011. Locals in Tripoli are starting to suffer from lack of food and fuel supplies.
