VTV.vn - Standard & Poor’s (S&P) Global Ratings announced that it has raised Vietnam’s sovereign rating from ‘BB-‘ to ‘BB’, with a stable outlook.

This is the first time that S&P has raised Vietnam's national sovereign credit rating in 9 years. This indicates positive changes in Vietnam’s macroeconomy. International organizations share the same assessment that the Vietnamese government's socio-economic development plans in recent years have helped improve the macro-economy and control inflation. They expect that Vietnam’s economy will continue to expand and that, with better policies, Vietnam will be able to strengthen its ratings.
