Its theme is “Brilliant Colors of Lai Chau”. Opening the program was a special artistic performance with the participation of artists and actors from 20 ethnic groups in Lai Chau province.
Another notable activity was the Street Festival, in which traditional folk dances and songs were performed by artists.
Tran Manh Hung, Deputy Director of Lai Chau provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said: “Lai Chau province organizes a Culture and Tourism week in Hanoi to promote local tourism attractions and cultures and traditions of ethnic groups to Hanoians and tourists. We’ll develop community tourism and eco-tourism to tap our advantages. We also want to market our OCOP products which have been certified as high quality products.”
On this occasion, Lai Chau province also introduced visitors to nearly 100 OCOP products including agricultural products and specialties of the province. The program will take place until the end of December 20th.
