A performance of traditional Japanese bunraku puppetry theatre was introduced to audiences in HCMC and Hanoi last weekend, as part of the celebrations for the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
The performance featured six leading performers of the Bunraku Company from Osaka. A demonstration and Q&A section were also given to 1,300 audience members in Hanoi and HCMC.
