Heavy rains in the area between Quang Tri and Binh Dinh provinces

VTV.vn - Heavy rains could cause water levels in rivers in Central Vietnam to rise and there could be flash floods and landslides, the meteorological office has warned.

The forecast is for heavy, widespread rains from Ha Tinh to Phu Yen provinces from now until November 27th.

The area between Quang Tri and Binh Dinh provinces will be the center of the floodings with a likelihood of heavy rain. The water levels in rivers between Quang Tri and Binh Dinh are likely to rise again.

There are also warnings of a high possibility of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and floods in lower areas between Quang Tri and Binh Dinh.
