Heavy rain forecasted in Northern region

The total amount of rainfall in the highlands and midlands could reach up to 100 to 250 millimeters, with rainfall expected mostly during the night and early mornings. Warnings for landslides and flash floods have been issued to residents in mountainous areas. Lai Chau and Dien Bien provinces, in particular, face the highest risks. Other provinces likely to be affected include Son La, Lao Cai and Ha Giang.
